Shave or wax at least a day beforehand.
Avoid moisturisers, oils, perfume and deodorant on the day of your tan.
Arrive with clean skin, free of any previous self-tan.

What happens after the tan?
Aftercare is just as important as the application itself. Once your tan has developed and you’ve had your first shower:
Rinse with water only until the water runs clear.
Pat dry rather than rubbing.

Avoid long baths, swimming and heavy scrubbing while the tan is still on.
